About Babsy’s Bakes
Hi! I’m Charlotte, founder of Babsy’s Bakes, and my mission is to sweeten people’s lives with delicious treats, promising ‘Love at first bite’.
I founded Babsy’s Bakes in memory of my Nana ‘Babsy’ in 2021. She was the amazing and talented lady that taught me to bake and really inspired me to get creative in the kitchen!
Artistic by nature, I love nothing more than to experiment with new recipes and flavours. For years I would only share my creations with family and friends, but with their positive feedback and encouragement, and with my Nana looking down on me, I finally took the leap and stepped out of my comfort zone to launch Babsy’s Bakes.

It has become a true passion and mission of mine to share my delicious creations with as many people as possible. There is nothing better than seeing a customers’ face when they sink their teeth into a delicious thick and fudgy brownie! Hearing and seeing the smiles and satisfaction makes it all worth it. It’s a dream come true to be doing what I love every day.
Babsy’s Bakes offers a mouth-watering range of thick, fudgy, and deliciously decadent brownies, blondies & cupcakes, all of which are lovingly handmade in Guildford. They are the perfect way to indulge and treat yourself or a loved one!
I also offer a custom cake service, including birthday cakes, special celebration cakes and wedding cakes. I love nothing more than creating a beautiful, show-stopping cake for your special event.

Babsy’s Bakes is known for our delicious thick and fudgy brownies. Each piece is 5cm x 5cm, thickness varies on the flavour, but trust me, they are thickkkkk, none of those flat letterbox brownies here!
For postal brownies and bakes, please place your order 3-4 working days prior to the date you require them. Postal boxes are dispatched within 2-3 working days of your order being received and are posted first class (24-hour delivery). You can of course order in advance and simply enter the date you require them in the notes section at checkout.
We require 2-3 weeks’ notice for all custom cake orders. To avoid disappointment, please place your order as far in advance as you can.
Your brownies and blondies are all baked fresh and will last for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container in the fridge (if you have the willpower not to eat them all at once!) They can also be frozen for up to 3 months, just wrap them tightly in clingfilm and foil for protection.
Your bespoke cakes are best eaten fresh. If you won’t be eating your cake straight away, then pop it in the fridge and remove 2 to 3 hours before serving to allow the sponge to soften up. All cakes should be enjoyed within 3 days of collection/delivery.

We have a range of gluten-free Free Brownies & and Blondies available for nationwide delivery or local click-&-collect. Bespoke cakes can be made Gluten Free, please email info@babsysbakes.com for more info.
Processes and training are in place to ensure that our bakes and cakes are gluten-free. Gluten-free describes foods containing gluten at no more than 20 parts per million (ppm). Please note that all our cakes and brownies are prepared in a kitchen where other cross-contamination risks may occur.

Yes! All Brownies, Blondies & Bakes are available for nationwide delivery via Royal Mail. Orders are freshly baked and shipped within 2-3 working days. We also offer click & collect options from GU1 and local markets.
All our cakes and cupcakes are bespoke and made to order. Simply fill in our enquiry form with your requirements. If you have a particular theme/design in mind, great! If not, no worries! We will work with you to create a show-stopping cake that’s perfect for your occasion.
Yes, we have a range of options available for wholesale, including our famous, freshly baked thick and fudgy brownies! If you run a café/coffee shop/restaurant and would like more information on how to stock Babsy’s Bakes, please email info@babsysbakes.com
All wedding cakes will need to be hand delivered and set up at the location as they are freshly baked and fragile. For enquires on bespoke cake delivery please email info@babsysbakes.com
